Realised as elegant minimalism, this house was conceived to be a simple open form extending from front door to north facing living space and balcony. It is essentially a light filled central space which opens and grows from the door toward the sun and views with other functions around the edges of the main living space.
With a folded roof form expressed in the ceiling of the main space, morning light floods through the house and links the interior to the large entertaining northern deck.
Using the slope of the site allows for a pool to be located on the lower level adjacent a large casual living space and guest accommodation, all within a lush north side garden.
