mosman apartment
Playing with the original curvature of the foyer we concealed two existing doorways by cladding the walls with a scalloped panelling and continuing the skirting along the bottom of the doors. This created a layered entrance with a simply textured backdrop for our clients beautifully restored pharmacists cabinet.
The foyer cladding wraps around the original curved wall inviting you into the living areas where sweeping views over Cobblers Bay establish a grand moment.
Adding texture in the kitchen with this scalloped oak panelling was a playful gesture linking the foyer and the living areas together. The warmth from the oak comes out to soften the white joinery and striking Patagonia splashback from Art of Marble.
