luxurious tradition

This Federation era home had been added to over the years and was a jumble of disconnected levels and rooms. With a clear vision of the potential, we worked closely with the owners to create a new series of well connected indoor and outdoor spaces that exude a sanctuary like calm.

The house now has a clarity of space with a flexibility to change as needed with the time of day or the season. Large steel framed glazed doors allow the original front rooms to be closed or opened up with ease.

Interior finishes and detailing are refined, with timber flooring, beautiful joinery and gorgeous natural stones the heroes. Truly a team effort from all involved, the care and attention to detail shines through in this beautiful home.

Externally, traditional materials including zinc cladding, timber shingles and face brickwork are all employed in a contemporary way to anchor the house in its setting. A retractable awning roof over the rear deck is part of an outdoor room that flows seamlessly from the kitchen and dining area. Together the house and landscaped garden create a haven for the whole family to enjoy.
