Utilising the foundations of a 1970’s home on the property, we created a stunning new multi-function dwelling. The elongated design creates a large upper floor plan which bridges over a covered entertaining space on the lower level. The upper floor living space is oriented to capture the winter sun from the north and the dramatic valley views to the south.
The house includes a second double height living space with 2 dedicated ensuite bedrooms so this end can be isolated from the main dwelling and used for separate accommodation, with access to the covered garden, spa + pool.
Detailed joinery and bold colours internally and externally reflect the owners graphic design expertise and create a dramatic modernist inspired composition. This house is literally a traffic stopper in the valley.
